My Gt Grandad lived in Blackely when he died , he was cremated in Blackley Crem and his second wife put his ashes on top of my grandparents grave m that is all i know . His first wife Lizzie (known as) had a nervous breakdown when he left her and eventually died in the 70,s of malnutricion. My grandad died in 1980 aged 52 and my father although living suffered a brain heamorrage and he cannot remember everything. The family were born around Ancoats, Blackley, Ardwick area. If I could trace back to 1901 I would be able to go further. My only other option would be to fly over in the new year and visit the local records- Thankyou for your time |

Where was your GG born or what town and county did they live in as i will try and help you find info. Regards Martine (decendent of a hardy from Dorset ) |
