	And a name probably too prone to mistranscriptions -- probably in the first three letters, so wildcards can't be used at Ancestry. With some more info, she could be searched for w/o surname, but it's that info that is being requested (e.g. parents' names). The Extalls and Extales (per Ancestry) in 1871 are pretty much all in Arnold, so that birth is obviously the right one, and there's nothing for it but to order the cert. With the parents' names, she could likely be found in the censuses.

	It's obviously her (checked the image, and if you know you're looking for Extall, that's what you see) -- rest of household is: Elizabeth Eatall 27 Hannah Eatall 22 Sarah Eatall 57 Sarah Ann Eatall 1 Thomas Eatall 37 William Eatall 61 William Eatall 19 -- no married children in household, so she's likely a daughter of Elizabeth or Hannah. My Basford-area ancestors were fond of having their children w/o benefit of marriage too!
