I am trying to follow the census through for name of spouse and children born to
Benjamin Jenkins
born 1805 Llangybi Cardigan Wales
Spouse Unknown
occupation in the 1881 widow and farmer of 10 acres plus tailor
a son Benjamin was born 1835 Llanfair Cardingan
I have the 1881 census but cannot access the others which relate.

Hi Sue of Perth...There is a David Thomas age 15 years listed in the 1841 census does it give a relationship and
in the 1851 census
David, Evan and Mary are listed as Jenkines is this the same as the other members of the family Benjamin, James Jenkins..that is are they all siblings

Can not seem to find them in 1861 sorry

They are all siblings in 1851,1841 census does not give relationships
On the 1851 census it has Benjamin's occ as a Tailor so not sure if i have the right family

On the 1841 David Thomas is down as a Tailor same as benjamin so presume he was working for him.

On the 1871 census he is a tailor also.Okay on the 1881 census he is a farmer of 10 acres and tailor,so it is the right one lol

Dosen't look like Benjamin junior was not married before here he is 1861 census

Hi Sue, I have to digest the census information that you have given me..I cannot thank you enough for all.....on second thoughts I know that Benjamin Jenkins born 1835 died in 1895 so I feel that there is a 1891 census for him and catherine.

Thank you Sue for your Help and for the marriage of Maria Evans and Benjamin Jenkins 8th Nov 1830..I will see where Lampeter is located..I found a birth on the batch numbers of the IGI of a son Benjamin born 1834 to Maria and Benjamin Jenkins .. the years were a little out but I feel sure that it must be linked...I was interested in Benjamin Jenkins b 1835 and his wife Catherine if there were any children...as they took in nieces and nephews in their tailor business and my grandmother when she was 8 or 9 years of age when her father died.
