you can order the certs and specify the fathers name... that'll ensure you the right one... and save a bit of money!

she had a bad temper and was deaf, that was enough reason lol
she had enough sense to stay away for 5 years so they couldnt take her back though lol

Ended up living in Almshouses

the 2 possible dates I have for him are;

March 1923 to an Ada.L Scott in Wharfedale

June 1924 to Annie Landy in Ormskirk

I think I'll have to send off for certificates and just see lol

no, Elsie was held in an institution for many years, the only wedding was to a bigamist from Canada after she absconded!!!

Thanks Wayne, I have that census, I'm trying to track him down after he left Hull.
I have 2 possible marriages for him in 1923 and 1924

He's a bit of mystery, no-one seems to have had any contact from him after he went to Leeds.
I would love to be able to find relatives just to be able to fill my mum in on what he did and where he ended up
but thankyou for looking him up

I'm trying to trace any relatives of Harold Simon. Born in Hull around 1898 to Fanny Boyd and Arthur Willoughby Simon

He was believed to have moved to the Leeds area in the early 1920's but not heard of since.
His neice ( my mum) would to hear from anyone connected with him.
