I am trying to find David Simpson (born in Wem in 1930)
He had a brother James & sister Barbara and his parents were Edward & Rose.

He was last known as living in Kidsgrove, Staffs.

He ran a petrol station there for a while.

We believe he was married twice and has a son & a daughter, Stephen & Beverley.

We urgently need to speak to him OR his family.

Janet -- do you have complete names for David's parents -- and possibly dates of birth?

If they died after 1984, it might be a simple matter to identify their deaths in the GRO index, with that info. A death certificate or obituary, that could be found in newspaper archives with info from the death cert, might give you information like his sister's and daughters' married names, if you don't know them, which might help to find them.

For instance, there are these:


Albert Edward Simpson 1910 Jul 1992 82 Stoke On Trent Staffordshire

Edward Simpson 20 Nov 1911 Nov 1998 87 Stoke On Trent Staffordshire

Rose Simpson 10 Jan 1910 Dec 1997 87 Stoke On Trent Staffordshire

Rose Mary Simpson 16 Sep 1906 Apr 1990 83 Stoke On Trent Staffordshire


that could fit with having a son born in 1930, if he were the eldest.

There's also a marriage for a Beverley J Simpson in 1986 in Newcastle Under Lyme (sorry, I'm a foreigner and not really conversant with the registration district geography).
