Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 2,377 Send Message	Thank you Joan and Sylvia, I went out of G.R. after getting the 1861 but today I have looked at the 1881 which has produces some anomalies which the 1851 has helped to iron out. There is a marriage for Thomas in Pocklington in FreeBMD 1843 Pocklington but no bride! Frances

Does he show up in York in the 1861 census with suitable family please? Were his parents also born in York please? Many thanks, Frances
