Peter McIntyre married Isabella Carr in 1849.

I know from their marriage certificate that his father was John McIntyre, a farmer, and her father was Stephen Carr, teacher of navigation. Peter was a mariner. He lived in Frederick St Liverpool and Isabella in Duncan St. |

Thank you Victor, that information looks very likely. Their ages differ from the 1851 census info that Sylvia found for me but it gives me something to go on. |

Thank you Sylvia, I am very grateful for all the info. I didn't know Stephen Carr was from Scotland and the address they were living at in 1841 is also another new piece of the jigsaw. |
