I have been looking for my ancestors on the freeBMD and family search.org etc and I cannot find a thing..I'm trying to trace the Parents and offspring of a Henry Charles Angwin Weston b:1895 in Wandsworth and died in Sittingbourne in 1967 he was married to Ellen Jarrett b: 1913..Jan. |

Do you have his marriage certificate? That would give his father's name. |

His birth is on Free BMD. I suggest you buy the certificate to find parents' names. I can't find him on the 1901 census. |

Thank you all so much ....This slippery little Eel has been causing me a right headache in trying to track him down.......I mean i know that they had 6 offspring being that of 4 girls and 2 boys...and all of them living....Jan. |

If you know when Henry and Ellen married, then it is just a case of searching through the birth index qtr. by qtr. from that date looking for Weston births where the mother's maiden name is given as Jarrett, to find their offspring. |

FreeBMD only goes upto c1925 so you probably won't find any of his offspring on there if his wife wasn't born until 1913. |

Thanks Kathleen....I have details that they were married in 1939...I believe to be in Milton,Sittingbourne,Kent...Jan...I know there were siblings that are still living and that goes for all 6 of them.....I couldn't find trace of the Father of Henry Charles either...the whole family is a complete mystery |

I would definitely get his birth certificate, Janet. At least you will then have his parent's names if nothing else and will be able to work backwards from them. |
