Hi Gwyn
Thanks that is my Thomas and Matilda.
Matilda went to N.Z. and took her eldest son Lawrence.I have managed to find Lawrence also his marriage to Ivy M.Wood and both their deaths.But nothing of Matilda.
Did she die at sea,was she divorced because Thomas remarried in 1924.
Unknown when they went but Matilda had another son Nov 1913.So I want to know where she was from 1914-1924.

When Thomas remarried, what was his status, ....widower,? divorced?

Hi Gwyn
On the marriage cert, it states that he is a widower.There was only 1 witness and that was the man we believe was his father.The space for father and profession have been left blank..He couldn't write just left his mark.
