Yes thomas Aunt was ellen Maving and she married James Harbottle their were two other sisters Judith born around 1837 and hannah born1847 i have found a marriage in 1874 hannah Maving to william west and interestingly a birth reg 1st quarter 1875 thomas mavin. however the cert for thomas has his father thomas mavin and mother ellen mavin formerly mowbray. Hannah moved to gateshead. I have ellen and James harbottle marriage cert. I can find no trace of Judith after1871 Any ideas of what to do next? |

I am having problems tracing the birth record of Thomas Mavin. From his death and marriage cert i think he was born 1874. the 1891 census shows him as a boarder in Morpeth nthland born in Rothbury. He was living with his aunt. His marriage cert does not have his father or mother recorded. can anyone help me or point me in the right direction . |
