This search is linked to a previous search request for Stephen Royle b 1787. I think Samuel may be a grandson so would like to trace his father. Thanks for those kind people who replied to original thread. Can you so something with this. Perhaps a look up in the 1851 census when Samuel would have been around 10?
Although Samuel was listed in Runcorn in the 1861 census with his grandfather, I have more than a hunch that it would be worth checking Manchester area.

Looks like this could be him as Heaton Norris is Stockport way and this census places him in Runcorn too, 10 years previous. Mmmm....

Received birth cert for Samuel Edward Royle and can reveal he was born 20/10/1840. Father William occupation: druggist, mother Hannah formerley Karden or Harnden (not very clear). address Willington or Wellington Road Heaton Norris.Would anyone be able to trace this family in the 1841 census and possibly William and Hannah in subsequent censi.? Would be very grateful.
