I m trying to track down my older half sister,I dont know very much about her as I was brought up in care so I dont really know much of my maternal family tree.
I know my birth mothers name was Barbara Heslop nee Norman, Ithink her birth year would be 1946-48 she lived I think around the Hartlepool area. She was married to a man named Heslop and they had a daughter sometime round about 1964-65.
Barbara met Terry Steadman and they moved in together at Bishop Auckland, Barbara left behind my sister,she then went on to have me in 1966 and my brother in 1967,again she left the relationship and children behind,my brother and I where split up and brought up in care.
Im trying to get my family tree underway as i know I have more half siblings around the North East but finding my sister would be a major step.
So if any one can help I would be for ever gratful
