If you zoom in it does look like Chipnam

Her husband is much older so it would seem reasonable. Her birth is listed as Chipping in 1851 or Chip---? in 1861 I wonder if it could be Chippenham? - there is this birth from Family Search

Well her age seem more appropriate for marriage if born c1822 , about 23 she would have been rather than 15 . Do you think it was just a mistake??

If you look at the extract the "H" does not look like any other H on the page, as in the H of Head.

But, if you look at the S of Sarah you will see it matches.

Searching on FreeBMD is very quick and easy - you can just search on an area ie Pottersbury and a surname or refine it in other ways.

On the 1861 census Sarah states her age as 39, (c1822).

Without the B/C you'll not know for definite that marriage is correct

1..why did they get married so early and that makes Sarah only 15..but it is possible

2.. Sarah is from Wiltshire..they might of married there

Sarah Summers

Check out freeBMD

Thomas Johnson married Sep 1843 Pottersbury, Sarah Summers was on the same page.

There is a birth of a James Summers Johnson Sept 1846 Pottersbury.

James Summers Johnson married June 1870 Buckingham, a Charlotte Franklin is on the same page. Charlotte is from Beachampton, Bucks on the 1881 census,
