I am looking for the Bygroves family. They really could be anywhere in England but were in the 1871 census in Durham.

Head James Bygroves aged about 33
wife Elizabeth aged about 29
Son James Ernest just born that year in Gibraltar

Not sure if they will be in the 1861 on not, appreciate any help.

Ernest ,,son born in Gilbralta in 1860/61

a son 2 years later in Malta...


i'd say more than likely not
just in case

Thanks so much for the info, yes, thats the family and the marriage details!!

Sophie I don't have a clue where James Bygraves was born it says Deal Kent on the 1871.

Hi again,

This family were all over the world due to James (husband) being in the Navy. I have them in the 1871 up to 1901 census. Just wondered if they were in the UK in 1861.

All I know about this family is they ended up in Liverpool.
