have just read the info on the council site and it doesnt say anything about an online search , i think you have to pay for them to tell you where a person is buried, disgraceful in my opnion but i think its the only way unless you can get there, or put a request for anyone living in area if they would be so kind to go there for you

Just wondering if anyone knows of any advice on finding a burial record.

I have just found the death in 1935 of the person I am looking for (patience is rewarded for trawling 60+ pages of index!) and will order the death certificate immediately, however, I know that won't tell me where she is buried.

The registration district is Wandsworth, and I believe she had lived in the area for about 40+ years, so logic suggests she would be buried in Wandsworth cemetary?
I don't know areas of London at all well, so I haven't a clue whether there are many cemetaries in that area, but the main one looks to be quite big.
I have looked on the council site, and you can pay for a search or go and search the records in person.

Is there anything I can do online to ascertain whether this is the right cemetary?
