Thanks for your replies. Glitter Baby, I also wondered if he had joined the army or even emigrated, seeing as both his parents had abandoned him, though his grandparents were still alive in 1901. |

William Coy was my first cousin 3 times removed, so not close, but I just had to find out about his life when I realised that on the 1881 census he had a different wife to the one on the 1901 census. |
