Hi,
thanks everyone for helping. I think the name looks like it could have been splet wrong, my grandma can not remember much about her family. So i now do think it is Curson, as the information from sue fits. It looks like they where married in Norfolk and thn moved back to middlesbrough and had norman. However if anyone has any more information, it would be greatly appreciated.

They could have been married in Norfolk, as thats where William Moy was from.

If you got her marriage cert you would have her fathers name and his occupation to help trace backwards. In the meantime with such an unusual name Id have thought it would be worth you putting in a google search Kirsop Middlesborough and see what comes up.

Are you sure of that date of birth? This marriage came up on freebmd which is free to search. If it isnt her, then surely it must be a relative? But these are the only Mabel Kirsops coming up. When was the eldest child born to her and William and where?

I am looking for any information on a Mable Kirsop (I am certain thats how it is spelt) from the middlesbrough(southbank) area was born around the 1900's she married a William Moy and then went on to have children, Stanley, Norman, Jo and Eddie. I don't know the name of Mable's parents, but i have been told that her father was some sort of councillor round the Normanby area. Does anyone have any information?
