Could this possibly be the marriage of his sister Freda? It's an unusual name.

If you think that could be your dad's sister, google the name "freida gray". There is an author of craft books by that name, who should be easy to contact through her publisher to find out whether she is related. Unfortunately, I can't find anything to show where she lives -- could be another country altogether.

No marriages for a Fredrica Gray or anything like, unfortunately. The other names are to common to identify, and of course they were all likely to have married before 1984.

Keep in mind that the Freida in that marriage was named Gray and married a man also named Gray. So that could be the Freida Gray who writes books, going by either her birth surname or her husband's surname. ;)
