Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	Hi Im looking for anyone who knows anything about GEORGE CHARLTON SCOTT my husbands Grandfather(deceased) and his wifes name was Nora Barbara they had a son MATHEW CHARLTON SCOTT who was disowned by his father when marrying LAVINIA ETHEL formerley TURNER. George and Nora lived at GREENHILL,SHOTLEY BRIDGE and he was managing director of a coal mine Barmoor Collery, Morpeth 1934-1947 It may just be possible that my husband has a half brother as we have found out that Mathew was a bigamist is this why he was disowned.?
