He probably joined 1940 age 18 which means you will have to prove next of kin and write to MOD at Gosport for his details. This will cost you £30 and you will have to complete forms, proving next of kin and will probably have a wait of about 6 months to a year. It helps if you know the ships on which he served. You can then do some google searching of those ships + Egypt |

Can anyone find millitary records for a William Alexander Anderson. he served in the navy and i think he went to egypt. he was born in 1922, salford, Lancashire |
