Hi Paul,

I have sent you a message detailing what I know about the Charles Sturgeon in my tree. Claire says that she thinks our Charles' may be first cousins, would be great to take a look and see if we can figure it out!

I have a Charles Sturgeon in my tree from Little Berkhamstead Hertfordshire. Do you know if your Charles had any sibblings? As mine has 10.

Hi Claire,

I have looked at purchasing a birth certificate before now, but thought I would hold it for now as I found the information on Annie's parents from her son and even have an address for them from some time ago which appears to fit with the census records for them in 1901. I hoped that this would lead somewhere further, but wishful thinking didn't seem to prevail!

However, I will go ahead and now purchase one to be on the safe side, thank you for your help!

Claire you need a copy birth cert to find out Annie's parent's names.
This is the foundation part of your tree so you need to get it correct.

Hi there,

I'm having a bit of trouble finding any information on the family Sturgeon from Enfield.

My great grandfather married an Annie Edith Sturgeon, born 1902 according to marriage records. And family have told me that her father was Charles, c1876 and mother Kate, c1878. I have managed to find a family matching this information living in Enfield at the time which fits with the family history, but can't seem to get any further back than this. I can't find any other information on Annie at all.

Is anyone able to help at all? Would love to know Kate's maiden name, any parents of Charles or Kate etc, but have come to a very abrupt halt.
