Thank you Jim for your reply concerning the census indexing and BMD.....the volunteers do a great job in locating the exact census with sometimes very little information...I try and find the census indexes on Ancestry before I ask for details and I also use BMD which a great site. So I will stick with what I do in research which is the same as Genes . Merry Christmas
