Deb needs a change

I'm trying to determine who a witness was on a marriage cert. The details of the cert are:

Edward Samuel Williams married Florence Smith April 27th 1903 in Elgwys Rhos, Carnarvon, Wales.

The two witnesses were Griffith Hughes Williams (cousin of Edward) and Elizabeth Jane Owen.

I have no idea if Elizabeth was a relative, neighbour or friend. I also don't know if Owen was her maiden or married name.

I'd really love to find out who she was and if she was related to my g/grandparents.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I could find out who she was?

I would try searching for her on the 1901 census. Start looking for an Elizabeth Owen about the same age as Florence and living in Elgwys Rhos, if that throws up nothing, spread the net a bit wider.
