	Thanks Julia I notice that the 1841 census shows 2 children & the 1861 doesnt, if it is the same family, presume that they have married/left home? George Cable 2 Georgiana Cable 3 Mo Also, notice that in 1841 they are in Leicester, in 1861, Lancashire & 1871 back in Leicester. - bit odd given that they were born & raised in Leicester, with family there. Is there anything in the 1861 census that would give us any hints that it IS the correct family? Does it say where everyone was born? what their employment is etc? Thanks again kind regards Gill

	I have found: George in 1881. 1881 49 Benford Street, Leicester. George Cable 42-poultry dealer, Mary Cable 40. Can anyone please find George in 1861 & 1841 census?? Many Thanks
