I do not think that this is him as he was an engine firman or stoker and born edinburgh. Could yoy check and see where his wife was born as I beleive she may have been born in ireland

Yes Vera, thats him.

Helen or ellen is with a Daniel Coyle by the 1901 census but as yet I can not find a death for william. Or Helens second marriage. Both partners are mentioned on her death certificate. Bridget Coyle born 1899 is noted as illigitimate
