Hi
I am at a dead end cannot find John Locas/Locus,s parents or siblings. He came to County Durham appears on his own and married Mary Robson in West Aukland in 1826. He had 6 children whose names are Locus at babtism to Locas at christening. Then all children are Local. It is an easy name to study for which I am doing a one name study with a great deal of success. BUT can,t trace John,s roots pre 1799.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Big M
