HE is the one born in East Indies, not her- and it does say he is a naturalised British Subject

The geography is right, so it is possibly her.
I had a quick google at Breedon Lodge and it is a listed building ( thats all I could find out)
Is it pos to look for her in the 1861 / 1881 census.
( it may help, either to identify & confirm or eliminate this family)

Census shows, they were living at 17 Duke Street, Leicester in 1901.

"the only mary Hickling born India is married to a william" - what other info do you have on this please? (just in case there is a connection)

so, at the very least you'll need her marriage cert for her fathers name

All I really have is:

1901 census shows John Edward Hickling aged 30 a Boxcutter born Barrow, Leic & Mary his wife aged 28 from INDIA - a British Subject.

Although it also says born Leicester? ?
So I would guess that someone in her family past came from India & she was born in Leicestershire???

where did she marry ? what was her fathers name?

Trying to trace the parents / Sibligs of:
Mary Bastock born c1860 Leicestershire - possibly Barrow upon Soar area.

Married John Hickling in 1882. I have her in the 1901 census.

Can anyone please find her in the 1861 /1871/ 1881 census?
