Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 10 Send Message	My aunt who was known as Peggy Mecham, but officially as Elthel Lily Mecham went to Amercia - it is thought just before or during the war. She was a nurse. She was born about 1901 and her parents were Caroline Sarah and William Albert Mecham who lived in Greenwich, London. She had lots of borthers and sisters. I have been told that she married twice, the first ended in divorce - both to Amercians, and had no children. I have also been told that she died about 1945 in Amercia - but I am not sure this is the case. I would like to trace anyone who knows of her, or who she married. Many thanks Melanie.

Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 234 Send Message	There's a marriage of an Ethel L Mecham and a Charles M McEwan Dec quarter 1919 Paddington (volume 1a page 272) For info there's a marriage of a William Edward A Mecham to a Caroline Sarah Penney Jun quarter 1896 Dartford, Kent (volume 2a page 940)
