Just did a little googling, Suzannah, and came across a query on Ancestry from a Suzy. Could that be you? It mentioned Williamstown and Lake St. Francis. That's my neck of the woods, although have never heard of Sir John's Island. However Williamstown was settled by Sir John Johnson after the American Revolution. |

So, Suzannah, not Suzi, it sounds as if your Charles Tupper was here in Ontario and not Nova Scotia? We have the Williamstown and the Lake St. Francis in close proximity. |
