My grandfather, Charles, was born in Birmingham area about 1868. In the 1901 census he was married and living in Sunderland. However, I do not know who his parents were and whether they stayed in Birmingham or were there only a short time, and whether Charles had any brothers or sisters. I think my grandfather went to Sunderland without his family - on his marriage certificate (1896) his father was named as Charles and as deceased. There seem to have been quite a few Charles Peters' around Birmingham area, and the one born in the right year was still there in 1901. Any contacts much appreciated.
