Thanks - I have a Certified Copy of an Entry of Birth giving her mother as Mary Louisa Howarth formerly Getby and her father's occupation as a Railway Bookkeeper. She was known as Tilly. 1891 census - Matilda Howarth 6 b 1885 Oldham - father William (don't know his occupation) and Esther presumably the mother of William.
