I think Margaret is right - on ancestry its indexed as OXTON but the image looks like OXLEY, with a little tail at the end.

Good work Margaret, I am a bit slow today

The 51 census on Ancestry has a Ruth Oxton but the original could be Oxley. She's a sister-in-law of John W. Smith, M.R.C.S. of England. She's a widow age 58, a gentlewoman born West Indies.
Address is 8 Finsbury Place, St. Stephens, Coleman St., London.
After a second look I'm sure it's Oxley.

I cannot find her
Can you give more details ?
There are 7 Ruth Oxleys in the 1851 census but none in London - two in Sussex one in Durham four in Yorkshire
