Hi, I am after a census lookup for 1871 and possibly 1861 for Peter Galloway c1857 Glasgow Larnarkshire.
I have census info for him 1881/1891/1901. Hoping to get information about his parents and siblings

Also stuck with his wife Eliz (nee Jones) brn Wales, parents and siblings in1871 census?

Hi there,

That looks very promising as Peter named a child Sumollet, so most likely after family member. Very unusual name.
The married cert I have is for Peter's son Peter b 1882 to Amy Hall. Had no idea of Peter c1857 parents etc.

Seems easier to follow lines in England than Scotland too which is good.
