I am looking for details of Harriett Burgoyne who married Henry Ewin dec 5th 1865. I have the marriage certificate which lists her father as Samuel. I have not been able to get a birth date, or any census info. did she just materialize?
Please help if you can as its sending me mad!!!

It wasnt compulsary to register births till abt 1875,,so she may not have a registration,

Plus she may not be born where you think she was,

Hi to all
Many thanks for all your help. I have tried all the census to find her. Her age on the marriage certificate is listed as full. (1865 St. Peters, Derby.)Her father, Samuel is listed as a Brickmaker. Her address on the certificate is Hill St. She died before 1881 census, as Henry Ewin listed as widow.but not found in 1871 Census. Also no death recorded. Any help gratefully received.
