If Maria was born in Hereford she should not have a Bromyard registration.

It should be Hereford itself.

The single line G.R. 1851 census gives :-
WATKINS MARIA 15 Hereford, Hereford
and I have found :-
Births Mar 1838
Watkins Maria Ann Bromyard 26 127
Does the full 1851 census show Maria with her family to match both these entries please?
