you should get his marriage certificate as it will give you his father's name and occupation. If Huntingdon is the right area, the birth of Albert Cornelius GARRATT is registered there in the June quarter of 1880 volume 3b page 284 certificate can be ordered from the GRO in Southport for £7

Who was named as his father on the marriage certificate and what age was given for Albert on there? You do have the cert, do you? Its just Id have thought it would give a full name, not just an initial.

Albert C Garratt married Edith Taylor in 1913.

From census material I believe that Albert C may have been born in 1880, as there is a Albert mentioned born in Huntingdon.

Does anyone know if this is the same Albert?

Is anyone related to him???

thanks

Jeremy
