Thanks for your replies! I don't know of a Kings Norton connection, but the names match very well - I think he was John Thomas and she was Clara Annie. |

Sue - you may be right! I've had another look at my information, and there was an Alice and an Elsie - no Eunice tho - anyway, Birkrnhead is about 90 miles away I think! I see you are in Australia. How are you accessing all this stuff? Thanks you so much. |

Sue - you posted again while I was replying! The John Myatt above was definitely "mine" as his parents were George and Elizabeth. Still don't know if he's the same person who married Clara Smith in Kings Norton, but you really have given me something more to work with. Cheers! |

Sue - thanks again! I really didn't imagine that the registration for Smethwick would be Kings Norton as they are so far apart and I believe they have never been in the same county. Well, there you go. |
