Can anyone help me trace my Great Grandfather. He was born in Westminster in 1870c. He was married to Jane Langley 20th July 1889. They lived in battersea.He died in st stephens hospital chelsea 14thMarch 1947. He was buried 19th March 1947 in wandsworth cemetery. My grandfather was Charles Edward Davey born 1897 Any help finding his birth or any information on his children would be brilliant

Buy his death cert - a family member probably registered his death.

tell us about the one child you do know about - your grandparent- what was their name, born where and when please

is the surname Elliott or Davey?

His surname is Davey, I have the death cert it was done by one of he's sons W.J.Davey, lived at time Juer Street battersea. I have the names of William Elliott Davey's children all born in battersea. They also lived in simpson street battersea

My grandfather was Charles Edward Davey born 14 April 1897 in battersea. He married Annie Mary Watson 24 April 1924 in the Parish Church Battersea. He died 23rd Oct 1957 Carhalton Surrey. Thanks for interest, hoping you can help. I need birth of William Elliott Davey on found him on 1891 census. On his marriage to Jane Langley says his father William and occupation tailor.
