christmas greetings everyone,wonder if anyone out there had an elderly relative that had been posted at katterick during the 2nd war who might have known my mother [margaret stapleton] better known as peggy,she worked in the canteen as a cook she told me she made corparal?she sadly died in 2005 and am just curious if anyone out there did know her could maybe share a story or two about her.as of a lot of her generation she didnt speak much about her early years. just thought i"d ask you never know.regards ruth
