Hi Donna,

The following death looks more promising age-wise.

April quarter 1950

Agnes A Jones aged 54

Abergavenney vol 8c pg 36

Do you know what age she would be? There is this death in Abergavenny:-

Agnes Jones, age 76
June qtr. 1955, Abergavenny, 8c, 46.

UPDATE - sorry - just realised you give her approximate birth year. This age at death would be out by quite a bit but people did give the wrong ages sometimes when informing on a death.

If she is buried in a cemetery then the council cemeteries department should be able to give you details of burial date if you email or phone them.

Is there anybody out there that could help find a death or burial record for Agnes Jones. Her maiden name was Corbett. She was born approx 1893 and died between 1952 and 1955 (definately before OCT/NOV/DEC 1955) I am not sure whether she died in Abergavenney or Leominster but she is definately buried in Abergavenney with her husband Issac (who died in 1975). I don't think there is a headstone on the grave so I don't really want to travel a long way just to find nothing.
