Diane -- there are people here who might be able to help you find someone you're looking for. The chance that anyone who actually recognizes the name you've got will see your post is very slim.

If you wanted to give a lot more info, people could try some things to find who you're looking for.

Is Alan Norway his name, and Oslo a nickname? It's pretty hard to tell. He was born in Nigeria?

Do you want to provide any of the names of his friends? Maybe his wife or kids, if you know them? Where was he living when you last knew? What kind of work did he do?

Info like that could help locate him.

you'll find two references to what seems to be the same Alan Norway -- one on the electoral roll and one in something called "Director Report". I can't see the details because I don't subscribe there. Maybe someone else who does will see this message and be able to send you the details privately (not proper to put living people's personal info like addresses here).

If not, you could post a request on the Records Office board specifically asking whether someone would check the records at 192.com for you.

Or actually you can just pay what I assume is a fairly nominal amount and access the records yourself!
