It seems my ancestors with the surname of Prince for 2-3 generations included the surname Maddock as the middle name for any children they had be they male or female. This started when Thomas Prince married Mary Ann Maddock around 1825. They included the name Maddock as a middle name for all their 9 children Their sons then included the name Maddock as a middle name for all their children. Then it skipped a generation until I was given the middle name of Maddock. I am keen to find any Maddock Princes or decendents thereof.
