I dont know Janes parents - I have just recently been re united with my nan after 30+ years via the infamous Gr but nan has mentioned the name Beanland so your on the right track

You know what I'm going to say next, don't you??...............get her marriage cert.......check her father's details, then cross-check with 1881 census to make sure you have the right person.

According to IGI George Beanland was christened 24 Apr. 1863, St. Chad's, Rochdale. Mother Mary Jane Beanland. No father.
On the 71 census he's living with grandparents, George & Jane Beanland in Rochdale.

Firstly she was overjoyed we were in touch again after the 30+ years and now well she'll just think i'm the best grandaughter going lol when I tell her the info. found thanks to you all that have helped me.
