	Hi, is there anyone out there who has John Mitchell, born c 1838 Midgley, Yorks, who married Maria Bedford b 1844 in Halifax 1865. On their marriage certificate John's father isn't listed, normally this suggests that he was illigitimate but i suspect that he may have had an arguement with his father & possibly disowned him, Any information regarding John's parentage would be very welcome. I do have his family & descendants its just that now i'm up against the Brick wall with his parents. Kind regards Derek.
