Have blanket searched the deaths for a James William Brierley whose whereabouts should have been Leeds..I have found a death in Leeds amj 1911 for a James Brierley est date of birth 1870..age of death 41..He was born 26/9/1870 in Ancoats... |

If you click on the registration district for Ashton on FreeBMD where James W Brierley's death is registered for 1928 it will give you details of the area. |

Hi lfw..yes that is my grandfather Harold and that is the James William Brierley I am after..thank you so much for all your comments..taken in and digested..need to look at it all..the daughter died so now only have the notes given to another family member..have only worked with what is on this site and Kew for military records...need to find out about the fhs then for Leeds..this is new territory for me..such a shame when there is one living relative left who may have info but cant ask as have to go through the rest of the family who are reluctant to give the info out....thank you again and thank you Irene as well..Wanda.x |
