Looking at the 1901 Census the details below are the most obvious, but did he marry? Any marraige would give his father's name and make hime easier to trace

Looking for any information regarding my Grandfather Alfred Godfrey from Southwark, London. DoB 1885'ish and that's a guess.
Last known to have lodged at 297 and then 313 Lynton Rd, Southwark in 1914-22 and then possibly at Devonshire Mansion/Mews, Dockhead, near to Tower Bridge. DoD sometime from 1943-?
