How do you search for detailed birth records? When I search the birth census, it only gives me their year of birth, place of birth and mother's maiden name. Why not their date of birth? |

You need to order the birth certificate to find the actual date of birth. The volume and page numbers are the GRO index that you need to order the certificate from the General Register Office |
