i have HENRY A Wallen on the 1881 census-aged 30 with his wife Eliza.
1881:
HENRY A Wallen 30
Eliza Wallen 28
Henry A Wallen 9
Fredrick Horrace Wallen 7
William Wallen

I have entries further back but im now doubting that its correct

can someone look on the 71 and 61 census again for me for Frank A Wallen to see who he is with. I have his mum as laura and dad as william but now im doubting where i got this info. If his parents are correct i have his name through the birth entry as Frank Carrington Wallen.

so if someone could check the 71 census and poss 61 census to see if they can see him and who he is with it would be a great help.

Looked on 1871, only 2 Frank Wallens, one in Deptford, b1870, one in Islington b1830, neither have parents Laura and William.

what DOB do you have for him, and how does Frank A relate to the census you posted for 1881?

lynne- you must think im either completely thick or off my trolley! i know you did this earlier for me! when i have gone back along the parents line, i have henrys birth entry down as henry carrington wallan. wallen being the surname and carrington the grandparents surname. this makes sense. but i have henry on later things as henry a (poss albert) and im trying to ensure i have the same person.

thanks for looking lynne

lynne

thanks so so so much! do you think fitz could have been felix? the name felix keeps appearing.

i think im as certain as i can be that the family or henry is the same.

if you get a chance, would you look on the 71 census and see if william and laura are on it.

you have been such a star, eternally grateful
