THANK YOU Jim..I did not know that Elvira remarried but that could be the reason I have come to a dead end....Elvira is a christian name not used very much so it must be my Elvira...all is appreciated

There is no death index but there are records of death on Ancestry.They have to be searched quarter by quarter,a major job.Of course she may have remarried.
