1901 is the most recent available census. 1911 comes on line in 2012

I would query your interpretation of the uncle's first name.......what was he registered as?

If you wish to find their ancestry, purchase the cert for one whose birth year you know, and that will tell you the full names of both of their parents.

Check freebmd, and see if you can find a birth registration - when you know the year of his birth, you can request a census look-up based on the info.

I bought credits last week to look up the census but I am afraid I ended up with no information because I was useless at searching them

Seaham lass didn't post the 'family', as such...just a list of birth reg'ns.

You need to get the birth cert for Ernest, to establish the names of the parents (as advised above)
