Ethel, Ernest (born 1906), Florry, Mary, Harold and Wilfred Helliwell who are all siblings, they had a uncle called Lorry Helliwell and they all came from the High Green area of sheffield

1901 is the most recent available census. 1911 comes on line in 2012

I would query your interpretation of the uncle's first name.......what was he registered as?

My mum and dad said he was called Lorry he was a blind piano tuner that lived in High Green when I said did they call him Laurence they said no it was Lorry

If you wish to find their ancestry, purchase the cert for one whose birth year you know, and that will tell you the full names of both of their parents.

Check freebmd, and see if you can find a birth registration - when you know the year of his birth, you can request a census look-up based on the info.

I have ordered Ernests on line I am waiting for it to come through the post now so that I can tell my mum her grandparents names.

I bought credits last week to look up the census but I am afraid I ended up with no information because I was useless at searching them
